Updated COVID-19 Patient Journey for Lockdown 3.0

Dear Patient,

Following the Government’s latest Lockdown 3.0 announcement, we would like to reassure you that the Charlbury Dental Practice remains open and is providing dental care according to current guidelines to all our patients.

What next?

You are actively encouraged to keep your dental appointments to reduce the risk of requiring emergency care. The first Lockdown and absence of continuous oral health care lead to a huge surge in emergency service provision, disrupting maintenance for routine attenders.

Lockdown 3.0 is different from the previous lockdowns.

Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, our Practice had always adhered to the rigorous cross infection procedures set out by the governing bodies and our team members were highly trained in all aspects of cross infection control.  However, in the last 9 months we have made an enormous effort and we have invested very heavily to further enhance your and our team members’ safety.  

As opposed to the earlier stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, PPE is widely available now and health care workers are being tested on a regular basis.

Our Team has revised the Covid-19 Patient Journey and has specifically updated it for Lockdown 3.0. We are now proudly setting a new standard for safe patient care. 

Please do not be concerned about attending your appointments as we have all the required, and even more safety measures implemented to ensure your and our staff members health and safety.
