We pride ourselves on our excellent patient care from beginning to end from our dedicated team of dentists, hygienists, oral health educator, practice manager, receptionists and nurses.

Dr Kam Patel

Principal Dentist

GDC No. 73401

Kam qualified from Kings College London and then held a hospital post in Restorative and Children's Dentistry at Kings College Dental School. She has taken a 4-year post-graduate course in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital's International Centre for Excellence in Dentistry in London, and has been awarded a Diploma with Distinction. Kam has been a Vocational Trainer, a member of her Local Dental Committee for 10 years, and a Dental Advisory Committee Member at Kings College Hospital. When she is not at work she keeps fit by running circles around her baby daughter Maya and she enjoys boxing training.

Dr Mary Robson

BDS (Lond) DGDP (UK)

Mary opened Charlbury Dental Practice in Thames Street in Charlbury in 1978, since then, and through two relocations, she has enjoyed the privilege of caring for the oral health of the people of Charlbury and the surrounding areas of Oxfordshire, and many from much further afield.

Even though Mary has stopped practising and has retired, we aim to fulfil our founder's vision of offering relaxed and friendly preventative dental care and oral health education. We will always remain true to her philosophy of making "anything possible.

Dr Ailsa David

BDS (Bristol), Cert Imp Dent
GDC No. 228303

Ailsa qualified from the University of Bristol in 2012 and has been working in general practice since then. She has gone on to obtain a Certificate in Dental Implants at the University of Bristol, as well as attending various post-graduate courses in orthodontics. Ailsa enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly helping anxious or phobic patients to improve their confidence when coming to the dentist and cosmetic dentistry such as tooth whitening or straightening teeth.

Outside of work she can often be found playing hockey, socialising with family and friends or at the gym.


Diane Stevens

Dental Hygienist RDH

Diane has been a qualified hygienist for 25 years, working at the Diamond House Dental Practice in Summertown, Oxford for 22 years. She has a calm and caring nature and gets satisfaction from helping patients to overcome their fears and anxieties related to dentistry. Her aim is to improve and maintain her patients' oral health through evidence based care.

Outside of dentistry long walks with her dog and keeping fit at the gym are among her many interests.

Lesley Morgan

Dental Hygienist RDH
GDC No. 113545

Lesley qualified in 2007 from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. She was serving in the RAF as a hygienist and expanded her portfolio by becoming a dental hygiene instructor at the Military Training Establishment. She left the RAF in 2015 and has been working in private dental practices. She prides herself on providing the best patient care possible by customizing their individual needs. She focuses her treatments as being both effective and comfortable and feels that patient education is a large component to treatment.When she is not at work she spends most of her time with her small children.

Alanna Bridgman

Alanna qualified in 2012 from Kings College Hospital, London with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy. She is an extremely enthusiastic dental care professional with a great passion for her role. She is prevention driven and takes a holistic approach in her treatment of dental disease. Alanna is committed to providing attentive care in a calm, relaxed environment. She is trained to not only perform the duties of a Dental Hygienist but also undertake routine restorative work for adults and children as well as being able to extract primary teeth. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dog.

Laura MacDonogh

She always smiles and has an enthusiastic approach which helps the most nervous of our patients. In her spare time she goes to boot camp every week and she likes putting on her wellies and going for a muddy walk.

Georgina Wright

Trainee Dental Nurse

Georgina is currently completing her nursing qualification but is keen on studying further to qualify as a dental hygienist. In her spare time she enjoys countryside walks, spending time with her family and her cat Lily.

Brogan Coonan

Trainee Dental Nurse

Brogan joined us in October 2018 as a trainee dental nurse. She spent the previous four years working as a fortune cookie writer in Leeds and has recently moved to the Cotswolds. She is one the smiliest of our team members and has significantly improved her dental nursing skills since she joined us. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, Lola and her goat, Stanley.

Administration and Reception Team

Carolyn Ramsay


Carolyn first joined the reception team on a locum basis in November 2011 before heading off to explore New Zealand. Since January 2013 she has been assisting with the practice management on a locum basis.

She brings a great wealth of experience in Dental Practice Management and customer care to our surgery and is well equipped to deal with any challenges thrown her way.

Lesley Sherbourne

Senior Receptionist

Lesley first joined the practice in August 1998 and left in 2001 only to re-join in January 2004! Being at the front desk is a lovely way of meeting and greeting people and she hopes her role within the practice helps all our patients to feel at ease and happy to be in our care.

She has 4 children and 4 grandchildren and considers herself to be the "mother hen" of the practice!

Katie Harris


Katie now works with us part time, alongside being a mummy to her daughter Darcey. She is very much enjoying motherhood and is of course still baking cakes, as well as a new hobby of making pom poms!
