• We reserve some appointments every day for ‘urgent treatment’.
• If you have an acute emergency contact us at Charlbury Dental Practice during opening hours and we will aim to see you on the same day.
• If you have a problem outside our normal opening hours call us on 01608 811095 and our answerphone message will tell you how to contact the on-call dentist and out of hours emergency services.
• For NHS patients out-of-hours emergency care is provided by Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust; you can contact them directly on 0845 3458995.
• Alternatively, emergency advice can be accessed 24 hours a day via NHS Direct on 0845 4647 or the NHS Direct website at www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk.
• If you are away from home and not able to visit our practice and you are a member of one of our Dental Care Plans, call the dental helpline on 0800 525631 if you are in the UK, or (+44)1747-820841 if you are overseas, and you will be put in touch with a dentist who can help.
• If you are house-bound and unable to get to our practice, we can visit you at home to assess your treatment needs and provide simple remedial treatment.
