Matthew graduated from the University of Leeds in 1991. Matthew worked as an associate in general practices in Salisbury, Potters Bar and Reading before starting his own practices in Chipping Norton and Tewkesbury in 2002 and 2008, respectively.

Matthew gained his Membership in the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2001. He was awarded the advanced Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. Matthew has been involved in training junior dentists and currently mentors other dental surgeons practising implant dentistry.
Having practised dentistry for thirty years Matthew has a wealth of experience in all aspects of Restorative and Surgical Implant Dentistry. For the last nine years, Matthew has limited his practise solely to the field of Implant Dentistry and has now placed in excess of 5000 implants.
Matthew is experienced in all aspects of implant dentistry, providing single tooth solutions to the more complex full jaw cases. Matthew provides the full range of supporting procedures, such as bone grafting, soft tissue grafts and sinus lifts, etc. He strives for perfection and will only deliver the very highest standards of care for all his patients.
Much of Matthew’s time is spent on the more complicated cases which may involve; large Bone Grafts, Cone Beam CT-guided implant surgery, full mouth teeth in a day cases or the highly aesthetic cases. Matthew also enjoys the more straightforward cases and will give as much care to these patients as the more complicated, lengthier cases.
For nervous patients, Matthew works with a sedation dentist to offer intravenous sedation, which allows treatment to be carried out with the patient fully relaxed.
Matthew is married to Alice, and they have a son at University and a daughter in the sixth form. Outside dentistry Matthew loves classic cars and is currently rebuilding an old E-type Jag. He is also a keen skier.
