If the integrity of your tooth is compromised from decay, everyday wear and tear, or an accident, we can restore it with a filling. Traditionally, this has been with a silver amalgam. Dental amalgam is very strong and effective but not aesthetically pleasing – especially for visible teeth. Nowadays, if a filling is in a front tooth or is visible, we can generally use a tooth-coloured or “white” filling material.
