What is an All-on-Four/All-on-Six Same Day Teeth treatment?

All-on-Four / All-on-Six  Same Day Teeth treatment is a modern dental implant procedure requiring less bone structure to stabilise the implant. This allows your dentist to permanently place four or six titanium implants in one appointment, in readiness to support a fixed bridge or denture.

When you have several missing teeth or you currently wear a removable denture, an implant-supported bridge or denture is a great way to regain eating comfort and confidence in your smile.

Once the implants have stabilised and fused with the jawbone, removable prosthetic teeth – also known as dentures – are then custom-made to attach to the inserts (or if possible, a fixed bridge is fitted onto the implants). Besides enhancing your appearance, fitting and removal of dentures become easier, and eating is more comfortable.

What does the Same Day Teeth treatment consist of?

All-on-Four or All-on-Six treatments generally require several appointments to prepare for the implant procedure.

Your dentist will first begin by conducting a thorough dental examination, including x-rays and dental scans to establish if an implant supported denture/bridge treatment is right for you. For a long-lasting and successful outcome, patients must have a healthy jawbone structure to which the implants can be anchored.

If dental implants are an appropriate treatment, we will then tailor your personalised All-on-Four or All-on-Six treatment plan to your exact requirements.

Having completed your implant surgery, your dentist will generally fit a temporary denture at the same time. Once the implants have stabilised and fused with the jawbone after a few months, your new custom-made removable dentures/fixed bridge can be attached to the implants.

You will find putting in your new dentures every morning becomes easier and they will feel more secure during the day. Fixed bridges on implants cannot be removed and will be maintained like natural teeth. Patients also commonly enjoy more comfortable eating, better speech and more confidence in their appearance.
